I have a wide range of artistic interests which include photography both traditional methods and digital. I can spend hours drawing and my pencils of choice are prismacolor. I have extensive experience painting faces, furniture, glass, canvas, paper mache, paper, murals and walls. I paint with oils, water colors, acrylics, inks and dyes. I enjoy making handmade paper and pulp which is my current medium of choice. I have several altered books and scrap books going at once, love collage, assemblage, found object art constructions and I find materials from flea markets, thrifts shops, and antique shops. I like to fashion collage brooches with reclaimed jewelry parts and believe in recycling. I make bracelets, earrings and what I call "pin heads." I delight in altering, anything! Transforming mundane objects into works of art can be challenging and I have done this many times with baby dolls, purses, boxes, bottles and containers of all sorts. I enjoy creating with polymer clay and making ceramic objects, and eventually I will buy a kiln to make porcelain doll parts. I have no patience for sewing. My favorite form for expression are "art dolls" and figurative sculpture made from papier mache which I think of as three dimensional paintings.
